Does Nancy Curtis really believe that Baptist churches can't do without what the WMU offers? Does she really believe "no one does it better?" Did she really say, "If not WMU, who? There isn't anybody?" Are you kidding me?
Wow, that is a level of spiritual arrogance that is absolutely amazing! It is pride of this magnitude that will cause us to be put on the ministry shelf, if we're not careful.
As for her comment about missions being Baptists' first love; she's wrong on that too. That place is reserved for Jesus, according to His own words to the church at Ephesus.
