Who wins in struggle?

Theological differences I believe we could work out. Philosophical differences I believe we could work out.

The real division between conservatives and moderates that is splitting the Baptist State Convention is akin to the usual culprits in a church split ... power and money. This has been and is a struggle between those who hold the power and those who think they should and they resent the ones who do. There are no higher aspirations here, just egos.

Christian unity is not about the unity of opinions. It is a unity of purpose to carry out the Great Commission. So go ahead and play politics; establish your agendas; pout and take your money elsewhere.

The real winner in this is Satan as he has always been in these foolish arguments. We are only aiding and abettting his cause. Maybe its time for God's children to grow up
