I just finished reading Norman Jameson's article on the slow creep of Calvinism into Baptist life. I have been predicting this for several years, and sadly it appears my "itching suspicion" has become a full blown five alarm crisis-to-be.

Thanks for your editorial on Calvinism. You got it right on. I was a classical Calvinist for 25 years. All five points are wrong. Only the Lord knows the good fruit that will come from your article.

If the leaders of the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina were as interested in the power of prayer and working together in unity as they are about begging for more money and having their own way, we would get a lot more done in the work of the Lord, by the power of the Lord, for the glory of the Lord.
