The Foys are members of Peninsula Baptist Church in Mooresville. They serve together in many places of Christian leadership, according to the statement. "She will serve North Carolina Baptists with integrity." Foy has served in her church as the mission prayer chairman, GA leader, GA director, Baptist Women's president and WMU director. She has also served as the Baptist Women's director for South Yadkin Association. Foy is currently serving as second vice president of N.C.
