Americans more versed in the Bible than Europeans, Vatican study says

VATICAN CITY - Americans are more likely than Europeans to own and read a Bible, but Poles are most likely to have a basic knowledge of Scripture, the Vatican reported April 28.

Entertainment headlines celebrate celebrities who are comfortable with drinking, drugs, sex and pregnancy outside of marriage. Many movies and television shows are so violent or racy that many Christians avoid them.
