One Saturday, I cleaned out the overflowing toy boxes in our home and donated a box of toys to our church nursery. A week later, walking past the nursery with my two sons, my 4-year old peeked into the room and recognized a familiar toy. Suddenly he was in the room, sifting through the toys, unhappily pointing out the ones that were his. I explained to him that he still had many toys at home. We discussed how God likes for us to share. Proud of myself for explaining everything so clearly, and confident that he had understood, I turned to leave the room.
